Chaco Print Advertisements

Project Objective

The objective of this assignment was to create an ad (or campaign) using Photoshop that included 2015's typography trends. A big trend in 2015 was the use of handwritten text, which I incorporated into both ads. I chose the brand myself because I own Chacos and felt as if I could effectively marry the brand's image with the typography trends. The goal of the end product was to use a font that looked rustic and jagged to let the consumer focus more on the adventure the Chaco wearer is embarking on. "Fit for Adventure" comes from their slogan, so I used images of people partaking in adventurous activities such as hiking and stream walking.
​This was my first project using Photoshop, and I utilized the type tool, blur tool, and visual hierarchy.
